Pancake is a three legged cat, back story first for this one- she came to the humaine society I work at in early Febuary 2026 after being hit by a car. The folks who brought her in feared the worst that every limb was broken but when my boss pulled her from the carrier we saw one of the front legs hung limp from her body. Only one was broken! Which isn't great but better than what we feared. After some local donations she got her broken arm ampuated giving her the status of a tripod or yardstick or whatever funny phrase you call three legged cats. Shortly after her stitches were removed we brought her home. Now she is thriving, she's a gluttonous beast, she chases the humans with food around begging for it. She's shockingly fast for a cat with three legs- besides her greed shes a total love bug and always velcroed to my mom which is her bonded human.
